Recording essential gen2

If I read it correctly, the Arlo Essential 2K Camera Outdoor and the Arlo wiredfree Videodoorbell 2K are not compatible with the smarthub VMB5000 or any smarthub. How can I record without having to take out a subscription?

At the moment you can't.

Arlo has said that they will add smarthub support to these cameras, but they haven't said when.
