Essential Pro v2 connected to power, doesn't show green lightning bolt

My Essential Outdoor Camera v2 (VMC3050) is connected to power but it doesn't show the green lightning bolt indication that my other cameras have. But it has remained at 100% for a couple of days. Do the new cameras selectively charge to optimize batteries?

Yes.  Though some have reported issues with that, so you should keep an eye on it.
