Difference between Arlo 3 and Essential 2nd Generation?

So I have an Arlo 3 about 8 feet up and an Essential at ground level pointing to the same spot.

The area is a Red Fox superhighway at night.  The Arlo3 picks up "Animal" just fine.  The Essential says "Motion" but doesn't actually capture the fox.  It does capture birds and squirrels during the day.

I suspect that there is some sort of intrinsic difference, or that the AI involved hasn't learned what a fox looks like at ground level or at night.

Anyone have some thoughts?  I donate the videos to show that nothing is captured.

You might try swapping the cameras, and see if the problem moves with the camera, or stays with the location.
