Hi

I have a doorbell and a pair of Essential Spotlight cameras. I recently moved the cameras all to another WiFi and connected them all. The cameras and doorbell are all working in the Arlo app and I can get live feeds from them ok. Their WiFi connection is good.

However the spotlight cameras never seem to detect or report any movement now. The doorbell works fine still.

There are no activity zones on the cameras, and when doing the test they flash and respond to my movement, but then don't actually detect anything. Both devices are on almost full power still after over a month and so clearly aren't working as they should do.

When I changed the WiFi I think I had to remove the cameras and readd them as new devices - would this be the issue?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Did you check the rules in the mode(s) you are using?

2 possibilities:

1) Your trial plan expired. These cameras require a subscription for cloud recordings. Check Settings, Home, Plans.

2) When you removed the cameras, you also removed any rules for them in your modes. Adding them back into your plan should give you rules in Arm Away but not in Arm Home or Standby. You would need to add those rules again.

Perfect, thanks. I hadn't armed them - they're working fine again now
