GSto,

What mode are you using? Does that mode contain rules telling the cameras to record when motion is detected?

Are you able to live stream the cameras and manually record from the stream?

My cameras are in optimization mode.  Motion detection is set at 100.
I can record in live mode, but still the cameras are not picking up any motion or sending notifications.

There is no "optimization mode" - I think you are talking about a power setting.

The three modes are "Arm Home", "Arm Away", and "Standby".  If you didn't modify those modes, you should have the system in either "Arm Home" or "Arm Away".  You can see what mode is active by looking at the dashboard screen.  The active mode is shown in color, the others are gray.
