  • For weeks I’ve been having this issue. I have four of these cameras, three out of the four cameras the color display is horrible to the point where I had to buy camera lens wipes ann every single night. I have to wipe down the lens on three out of the four cameras, what is the reason for this all.. the display is on the same settings and I can barely see the video early in the morning.. and at night the glare is unbearable on three out of the four cameras. I’ve tried IMG_9936.jpegeverything else. I’ve even reset the cameras and added them to my account still the same issue.  as you can see in the picture, the top one is fine. The two below look at the difference and the third. I don’t have picture, but it’s the same thing as the two

ok. Look at the picture to the left. And the shot to the right is after I cleaned the lens. I have to do this every night for the last few weeks on 3 cameras. I don’t understand why I’ve had these cameras since May 2024 and never had this problem until recently. Even on cold snowed days rainy days the video was clear.

I don't see how wiping the lens would help.

Can you put one of the problem cameras next to the working one, and then compare the image quality?

Heavy moisture in the air can easily cause this. Maybe wiping the lens with a water repellent like Rain-X would help (apply a couple of drops to a clean cloth and then wipe). It also may be useful to rotate the camera down.

Note some of these water-repellent treatments are just for glass, so make sure you get one that says it is safe for plastic.
