Away for multiple months. Some Arlo cameras were connected through Base station. Others, like the outdoor Essential 2nd gen are direct with router. All have gone offline. All my other WiFi devices on same power circuit are working. This makes the cameras worthless to me while away. Is there no way to ping or somehow reset from remote location? Bummed

crtolson,

It sounds like the battery could be depleted for these cameras. How much activity did the cameras see prior to dropping offline?

Hi JamesC, That's a good thought except all cameras are running on AC power from the home circuit using Arlo brand extensions and USB plugs. They see very, very little automated activity (essentially zero). We use them to manually monitor conditions of our yard and home, periodically to ensure fans and air cleaning devices are continuing to function (blowing streamers), and of course for security should that need arise. As mentioned, none of the other devices on this WiFi network have failed to function. We had one 2 hour period when the power company reported an outage but all other devices came immediately back online when the house power was restored. Fortunately, in that respect, we’ve only lost our visual and visual security with the Arlo products.
