If I buy the subscription now, will I have access to footage of the past 7 days? I've had the camera for a month

Nothing is stored in the Arlo Cloud until after you purchase the subscription.  And when a subscription expires (either paid or trial) the saved footage is deleted. So if your subscription has lapsed the footage is gone.

Also, retention is longer than 7 days - footage should be saved for 60 days.  Details for each plan are shown on arlo.com
