Hi, after purchasing an Arlo Essential Gen 2 in the USA and bringing it to Brazil, I'm facing the same issue that many others have reported here.
The app doesn't list the Gen 2 option.
The official support from Arlo responded that the app does not support other regions.
The workaround is quite simple: just create a new Arlo account using the US region.
Start by selecting "Create a new account" from this Arlo Community Site (https://www.arlo.com/community/register/default.aspx) , and then log in to the app using these new credentials.

Após comprar um Arlo Essential Gen 2 nos EUA e trazê-lo para o Brasil, estou enfrentando o mesmo problema que muitos outros relataram aqui.
O aplicativo não lista a opção Gen 2.
O suporte oficial da Arlo respondeu que o aplicativo não oferece suporte para outras regiões.
A solução é bem simples: basta criar uma nova conta Arlo usando a região dos EUA. Comece selecionando "Criar uma nova conta" neste site da Comunidade Arlo e, em seguida, faça login no aplicativo usando essas novas credenciais.

Generally the suggestion is to use a VPN that terminates in the US (or some other country where Arlo offers subscriptions) when you create the account. Disconnect the VPN when installing the camera
You will also need a payment method for that country.
