Essential Spotlight IR: all six cameras clicking on/off rapidly

Around 1am last night all six of our cameras started clicking rapidly and the IR was going on and off rapidly, about one second duration.All cameras were disarmed when this happened and it continued all night, even after I unplugged the base station. Has anyone else had this experience?

We've seen that happen for years in the early morning hours. It seems to be something going on as to perhaps having the cameras check for updated firmware, etc. but can't be sure. However, happening the rest of the night is a problem. Since rebooting the base/hub didn't work, I'd suggest using the app to go to Settings, Support and choose an appropriate option to see what official support would say.
