When I set these cameras to the “Arm Away” mode, they don’t seem to monitor any movement because the privacy shutter stays closed. How do I get these cameras to stay active while I am away from the house?

Is the camera listed as having a rule in Arm Away? Is the action set properly? Screenshots of your rule may help.

We are having the same problem with our camera. We finally wedge a toothpick in the privacy shield to keep it from closing. Something is clearly wrong with the shield.

Check the modes to make sure there are appropriate rules for the camera to detect and record motion. If the camera is disarmed, the privacy shield will engage.
