Arlo Essential Indoor with good connection does not show live video

The camera reports a good WiFi connection, and when going to 'video settings' I am able to view a live feed. However, when starting the video feed in the main viewer, it keeps showing a spinning circle.

 

Restarting it sometimes works, but as I'm using it as a babycam, the annoying clicking of the privacy shield would wake up my child.

 

What seems to be the issue (as WiFi is good).

It's likely a good time to try a camera reset. Follow these directions carefully (be sure to use the Essential 2 indoor camera section):
