We recently purchased our Arlo Baby and have been using it since December 28 without any issues. However, this past overnight the device disconnected. I knew my son was up, but nothing was coming in. The device would not stream and was not sending out notifications. I began troubleshooting by checking out Wifi and it was in full strength and had all of its expected devices connect except the Arlo. It also had no drops in service or connection in the log. Suddenly, after checking Wifi and exploring the app it started to send notifications with video, but still no live stream. I continued trouble shooting with reinstalling the app, this did not fix the problem. When I went to the device it’s LED was a low blue (we have it set to off). I then proceeded to turn off the battery and replug in the USB. This solved the disconnection.
I share this in case it becomes a common occurrence or assists in fixing firmware bugs as it was solely a device failure.
