Hi all,
I have 2 Arlo Baby's, both running the latest firmware (according to the app). The night light for both will randomly change color at times. Sometimes this will happen to both at the same time, or others depending on which one way be being used at the time it will happen distinctly. Symptoms are pretty consistent in that the night light and the music/white noise will be turned on and at some point the light and music will turn off. When manually turned back on via the buttons on the side of the device, the light will have defaulted to the original blue color (when it was configured to be pink before the event).
Any advice or is this a known issue which is being looked at for a resolution? Thanks in advance.

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have performed so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

@ShayneS I have checked to ensure using the latest firmware, rebooted/restarted, completely drained battery and repowered. Other than that, I'm not really sure of much other troubleshooting steps even possible for the given issue.

Have you tried a factory reset?

Hi again @ShayneS,
I have not tried a factory reset as this is more of an intrusive step that I would only do as a last resort. Is a factory reset a known fix for this issue or just a next step attempt? If the later, can you advise what the subsequent step may be if the factory reset does not resolve the issue?
Thanks.

Thanks

Hi @ShayneS. I'm can't remember the specific firmware version it was on previously, but when it occurred it was the latest version. At this time, I am also on the latest version (may or may not be the same version as originally, I don't know), but yes it is still occurring. It just occurred last night. When I sent in to the child's room this morning, the night light feature was turned off and when I turned it back on, it had defaulted to blue again. It was set to another color and turned on last night.
Coincidently, I am also now using the new/latest version of the mobile app experience.

Hi,
The Arlo Development team has a test firmware that we can try to see if this resolves the issue you are experiencing. Is this something you would like to try?
Thanks

@ShayneS I'd be happy to, just let me know what I need to do. Also, if you could let me know what to do to roll-back in the event something detrimental occurs (given this firmware version is still in testing at this time). Thanks!
