Loud Background Static Noise

I just bought an Arlo Baby, and in a completely quiet room, with no wind or AC on, there is a loud static noise. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to send this back if it cannot be resolved since we do not want to hear a loud static noise for all hours of the day while our child is sleeping.

If someone can help me resolve this I would greatly appreciate it because I do really like the camera.

Sounds like a possible hardware problem. Swap at the store.
