As of Monday morning my Arlo baby suddenly wouldn't connect to wifi per the app. I attempted to resync it and it still would not work. I then factory reset the camera via it will sync to wifi (solid blue light) but will not add to the app. Every person I know with this camera is having the same issue and Arlo has no way to submit bugs or tickets. Are they aware? Are they working on it?

The development team did investigate the behavior you were seeing, however it has since been resolved. I will reach out to the team with the information you provided and will reach out with an update as soon as possible.

I’ve been having the same issue. A JamesC from arlo told me to go into the app>settings>support to submit a ticket. When I into the app>settings>support it doesn't bring up where i can submit a ticket. I replied to his comment and haven't received a response. I've been trying to connect my baby arlo since Monday and nothing. I’ve tried factory resetting multiple times, letting it sit for 24 hours not plugged in or powered on and nothing! Its frustrating! It makes me want to get rid of the arlo cameras and cancel my subscription and go with another brand!

As have I. I need something to keep an eye on my kid, 4 days without a monitor is ridiculous....Arlo has been nothing but terrible since charging for cameras and I am definitely looking for something more reliable.

No solution yet, submitted a ticket yesterday afternoon. They said that I would get a notification via email once a resolution has been reached.

I was able to fix it myself last night... my camera was connected to my wifi but for any weird reason in the app was not showing any video... try to delete the camera on the app, reset the camera, remove the camera from your wifi (i have spectrum, in the spectrum app there is a list of the things connected to the wifi and you have to delete the camera from there). And then you can try again to add the camera. Hope that can work for you also 🙂

I have SOLVED this problem in my case.

Problem: I changed the network password, and then couldn't connect to new netwrok. Tried syncing at least 5 times, then factory reset and syncing at least 5 times again, then did the same twice more. All done on desktop computer sitting on same network but via LAN rather than wifi. Couldn't connect.

What worked for me is I have another wifi network at home, so I did the syncing again, this time using my phone while connected to this other wifi (call it wifi2) and having the phone sync to wifi2 (wifi2's passwords is the same as wifi2, but their SSIDs are different). It worked almost instantly.

My suggestion is therefore:

1. Ensure the phone/computer being used for the setup is connected via WiFi (not LAN) to the same Wifi as the phone.

then either

A. Use existing SSID and password

If that doesn't work

B. Change the existing network SSID (ie add "1" to the end of it to make it simply, so "MyWiFi" becomes "MyWiFi1")

If that doesn't work

C. Add another network to your house using a spare router. Any old router can do this, just plug it into your current router. Here's a quick guide.
