Just bought Arlo Baby and leave it plugged in consistently into an outlet not controlled by a light switch. We are out of town and left monitor on (just testing it out as baby isnt due until August) and got a notification that battery is low, but its plugged into the same outlet it's been plugged into for 3 days. Is this just a defective unit or is there something we are missing (we do not have the switch on to run off battery as it will be constantly plugged in) we can still exchange it, just wondering if anyone else had this issue?

Something not right.... is it still running? may be a  self drain on the battery and it's sending out a reading... I would leave the battery on next time

In normal use if power is out the battery will run for 6+ hrs in day and 3+ at night ( IR lights )... yours wouldn't have lasted 3 days on battery....

BTW, you can leave the battery turned on as it will not overcharge. Mine has been in use for 2 yrs with no issue. Also the battery allows you to get thru short term power outage.
