Anyone else have problems where the camera disconnects then 5 minutes later will reload and the temperature sensor is saying it’s 10 degrees hotter in the room? Considering these cameras are so expensive I would expect something that wouldn’t stop monitoring my newborn

KAdark,
Have you tried to reboot your Arlo Baby? What device are you viewing from, the web portal or mobile app?

I’ve rebooted it multiple times, and using both the HomeKit and Arlo app (when it doesn’t crash or freeze) we’ve reset both our router and modem just in case it was a wireless problem also

I've seen the same behaviour on at least 3 occasions over the last week. I've restarted everything too. Currently stuck forever connecting...

Is this on android or iOS? Which devices are you using to view when it disconnects? Have you tried viewing from another device with the same result?

Hi Shayne,
This is on Android. I have 2 tablets and 2 phones, and once the connection issues start, none of them can connect. Curiously though, last night, streaming on a tablet just fine but couldn't connect via a phone at all.
Some other behaviour I have observed when getting the connecting issue, is that I can still control the night light, play lullabies, and see the temp and other data, just not the video stream. I also cannot restart the Arlo baby via the app.
Restarting the Arlo by pulling the power gets it all going again.
I have attached a screenshot where you can see the temp and humidity spike just before the video issue occurs. There is then a gap in the graphs, but I do still see the temperature changing during this time.

Eatoff,
I have a similar image. What time zone are you in? I'm Pacific.
What's your 7day look like?

I'm in Australia. Attached my 7 day.
More behaviour - after streaming for a while (say more than 20mins) if I stop the stream then try connecting again it won't connect.
The Arlo has full wifi signal, it's in the same room as my router.

Ok, I started to get suspicious after noticing that I didn't necessarily have to restart the Arlo to get the video connection back up. I could restart the router, or disable the WiFi and then re-enable it to get it back.
So I asked around on some forums and it was suggested I disable airtime fairness on my router (ASUS RT-AC88U). It's only been 24hrs, but my issues seem to have gone away. Video streams start within about 2 seconds (previously 5-30 seconds if it's going to work, otherwise just connecting forever).
See what model router you have, and check if it has this setting you can disable.
