I am using an Arlo baby monitoring system. On my tablets, the always listening icon in the bottom right has disappeared, and I am not able to watch continuous streams on the dashboard any longer. However, I am able to use it on my mobile device. has this due to something with the update that somehow changed it on, not able to be used on tablets.

Can you provide a screenshot of the missing icon? What is the model and version of your tablets and OS they are running?

iPads 

mini 2024 64g iOS 18.3.1

ipad 10th gen iOS 18.3.1

 

the icon that is missing is normally in the bottom right corner and it looks like the outline of a head. When it is not active, there is an X next to it. And when it is active, it has the sound symbol coming out of it.

unable to send pictures for some reason.

 The manual says it looks like a loudspeaker???

Thank you but it doesn’t tell you how to get the icon back on the dashboard.

I think that's an app bug.  Obviously you can't post a screenshot of an icon that isn't there, but I was thinking that clarifying what it was supposed to look like might be useful for @ShayneS

Please be aware These devices are EOL, While firmware updates, bug fixes, and feature additions will no longer be available.

 

 I have provided the info to the appropriate team to review. I will let you know as soon as I have more info to share.

What does this mean for your device or service?

Just checking on the status of the developers. Have they figured out how to fix the of missing  icons?

@Sbieders Still looking in to this. Is this missing icon preventing your live streaming as a whole or the issue is only that the always listening icon is missing?
