Hi,
I bought a second-hand Arlo baby. When I add it to the app it says ”This device is inactive.
To activate the device, you must have a paid subscription” and doesn't show any picture. How do I fix this?

Did you buy an Arlo Baby (this thread) and a Pro (your other thread)?
Or something else all together?

Hi again. I forgot to mention that I already have the arlo pro 2 with the base unit. My other cameras work flawlessly without a subscription.

How many unsubscribed cameras are there in the account?
(You should be able to activate them, but the 7-day free storage is limited to accounts with 5 or fewer unsubscribed cameras.)

okay then I understand the problem. camera number 6 & 7 it complains about. what do you do if you have more than 5 cameras? bought pro 2 & baby for that reason (Free storage).

There are two options:
- get a subscription
- get a second base and add it (and at least two cameras) to a new account. Then share the cameras using the "friend account" feature.
If you see "Library" in your app menu, then option 2 will also require you to migrate your existing account to "Feed". There are some downsides to that, so post back if you want more info on that.
