Hello,
What is the typical replacement interval for the two AA batteries, and is the battery life adequate for the device’s location and usage conditions?

None of the Arlo cameras take AA batteries.

True, but @richa6238bisnoi is asking about the old audio doorbell - which does use two AA batteries.
It's been a long time since I used mine - and unfortunately can't recall how long the batteries lasted. The FAQ says about one year "with normal use".
Note the audio doorbell became "end of life" in about 18 months ago.

It depends on how often the doorbell is used and how far it is from the base station. I use rechargeable batteries (German Ansmann) and they last approx 6 months with moderate use. I don't know if the app has something to do with how long the batteries last (some cameras now have a low power mode as an option in the app, but I've not tried it yet), too, but there has been an improvement over the past year or so, and my audio doorbell's rechargable batteries seem to last longer (or maybe it's actually the batteries themselves) - they've sat at 61% fir the past three or four weeks. When the batteries go down to 40-50%, I noticed the doorbell doesn't perform as well, with calls not going through. However, this could be due to me using rechargeable batteries, or a problem with the app; you never know and I have no time to be testing things for Arlo.
Overall, the audio doorbell is a cracking device and I love its wee size.
@StephenB the audio doorbell is not end of life in the EU/UK. It's important that users, especially from the EU/UK, have accurate information.
