Should link camera display a picture/video on smartphone when doorbell is pressed?

When my audio doorbell is pressed, I get the notification on the phone with the option to "answer or ignore", but no picture from the camera that is linked to the doorbell.  Is this normal?

It's been a while since I had an audio doorbell installed but I think that's the case. The video doorbell shows an feed from its own camera which the audio doorbell doesn't have.
