Under doorbell, device settings, motion trigger:
The motion trigger status icon does not “turn on” no matter what state the doorbell is. Motion trigger on, or off.

RChobby,
The motion sensor on the doorbell is always on. Alerts for motion detection can be toggle on or off but the motion sensor is always on and cannot be disabled.

James,
That is not what I’m saying. In the iOS app, the motion sensing icon is dimmed, even when “motion triggered alerts” is activated. Why have the motion icon at all, if it is always dimmed?
