I’ve had my Arlo system for almost 2 years but most recently I had someone (drunk) at my door at 3am ringing my arlo doorbell. And this is typical that most people just sit there and wait as if you don’t press hard enough, the home chime never goes off. Now imagine I had a drunk person outside my home and the only thing was my phone going off and not my home chime. A little dangerous that the most basic feature doesn’t work; the doorbell.

Unless product mgmt tells me this is fixed in some newer version and that I could possibly get a replacement for free, I’m about to rip out everything and just pay for ring or nest doorbell and security cameras. So frustrating that with all this tech, something like that was overlooked. Bad design on feedback to tell a user the doorbell inside the house doesn’t trigger.
