The button has no feel. It's really stiff and takes a firm push to activate my traditional chime. Is mine defective, or are they all like that?

I purchased two doobells and they are both like that. They give the user no feedback so it is difficult to know if the doorbell press was sucessfull. Major flaw in my opinion.

The button is kinda like the newer Apple keyboards. There's very little travel on it. You can feel the "click" if you're attentive, but it's really subtle.

Seems to be the design. No "finger-feedback" I like that. I appreciate the responses and agree it's a design flaw for sure.

I would think that since the doorbell has a speaker built in they could have the doorbell itself play a chime when pressed. Just a software change so shouldn't be too big a change.
