I have no Arlo products right now, so I am a complete noob. I understand that I would probably need a live internet connection at the time of setting up the system, but after getting everything connected, if the internet went down temporarily (but not my local wifi) would the arlo chime still ring if someone used the doorbell?

Hi @IngeJones
I am not sure I understand the question, your local WIFi uses your Internet connection. If the internet goes out, your base station/devices will go offline. The Arlo devices require an active internet connection.

No, my wifi doesn't depend on my internet connection. My wifi devices can communicate with each other just fine when the internet goes down as long as my LAN is up. My question is, when a signal is sent from the doorbell to the chimes, does it have go via the Arlo cloud servers, or can it route via the LAN
