I went with the chime without the doorbell.   The push doorbell btton is a legacy function from the 1960s before things like wireless camreas and motion detectors existed.

I just pointed an alro camera at the door and restricted the activity zone to the door area only to limit false alarms.  Plug the camera in for faster motion detection (less delay)

Then edited the mode to activate the chime when the front door camera detects motion.  I also reduced sensativty to pretty low so butterflies and mice dont activate it.  So, whenever someone appraches the door, the chime goes ding dong.  No doorbell required, and you also have video footage for historical record.

Working great so far with no false alarms yet.

Only wish the chime got louder.  Will need a second chime for 2nd floor probably.
