I do not have or need the doorbell but would like the chime if it can be activated from any of my 4 cameras. Will this work?

I don't believe so. I think the chime has to be paired to the doorbell first and can then be triggered by a camera.

Yes, you may use your chime without the doorbell. You will need to add the device > pair with camera > set the required rules if you would like it to chime/siren when motion is detected.
