I've noticed that, too. A base reboot always shows the doorbell as disconnected. I don't have to wait until the next day - it's a couple of hours (+/-) before it shows connected. It's my back doorbell so I don't really care and haven't taken time to troubleshoot since it always eventually reconnects. I suppose it's just a display issue but...
