cannot use arlo skill on amazon fire HD 10 tablet.

I keep getting the "waiting for netgear" message when trying to use the alexa skill to "show" one of my cameras in my arlo pro setup. The fire 10 HD is a 7th generation fire tablet. According to the skill description I thought this would work. Is this a supported configuration?

P.s. the app works just fine on the tablet.
