I am unable to add a wired doorbell camera directly into Homekit as a standalone camera. This means it won't be paired with an arlo base station (and HD cameras). I set it up this way because I experienced performance issues when the video door camera was connected to the arlo base station.
The wired doorbell camera won't add into Homekit without a set-up code. I also cannot select the "Homekit" option from inside the Arlo App, for the video doorbell, because it is not there. Is there any way to get the wired door camera to integrate with Homekit?

Hi levirichard,
To set up your Arlo Video Doorbell to Apple HomeKit, your video doorbell must be connected to an existing Arlo Base Station/SmartHub to connect to Apple HomeKit. You can read the requirements here: How do I connect my Arlo camera to Apple HomeKit?
