I want to buy a doorbell and a camera, but I have a question: Are they compatible with smart things? That is, can I receive notifications and watch live on a Samsung smart TV, or just Alexa? Thank you.

TMK, as of now many smart tv cannot play and receive messages nor play live streaming... due to lack of app.

 

The TV would need to run the arlo app/ web app somehow for video....your results may vary as many newer TVs may support now.

 

The only way I have been able to play the cameras thru my TV is using a gen 2 fire stick and Alexa....   Also the Alexa does support voice commands to live view the cameras
