When you ring the Arlo Audio doorbell, it does not announce on my Alexa devices. I have the skill installed and configured to announce. I've followed the instructions in article 000062192.
I do have it wired to my existing chime (not Arlo Chime). Does that cause it to not announce on Alexa?
Any ideas?

I contacted support and they provided a solution.
• Remove the doorbell from the Arlo Account.
• Push and hold the sync button on the doorbell (It is the button between the batteries) till its LED goes fast white.
• Wait till it slows down, then take off its batteries.
• Go through the installation process (Add New Device > Doorbell)
> Note: Insert the batteries when it is mentioned during installation in the app.
• Once installed, try to pair the doorbell back to the Alexa again and test it.

According to Arlo it’s a known issue outside the US.
I’m in Australia and done get announcements from my doorbell or Arlo baby on the Alexa devices.
Arlo have confirmed it’s a problem. They haven’t confirmed if/when they will fix it or if they have simply falsely advertised the product outside the US.
