I have a small farm and my barn is out of wifi reach. Is there some way or some system that I can set up a camera to record any activities?

If your barn is on the same electrical circuit as the main property which has the internet access, then you can use powerline adapters and an access point at the barn.
If the barn is on a different circuit, you can still do it, but you'd need to use an additional powerline device somewhere. In Europe, this can be done using Devolo dinrail.

In addition to the above, there's also the Go 2 camera which can operate on cell service or WiFi.
