Original Arlo cameras and HomeKit

I understand that Homekit will nly be supported by Arlo Pro 2 or Ultra. However having 3 orignal Alrlo cameras I was wondering if the Homekit functionality is tied to the camera or just to the hub. So in essence the question is if I replace the Hub to a new one, Pro2 or Ultra capable (perhaps with one additinal camera) will my original Arlo Cameras also work in Homekit?

Hi @jpolster,

The HomeKit functionality is tied in with the Arlo camera. We do not have any information about releasing HomeKit compatibility with the original Arlo cameras.
