Because there are no alerts if the base goes out. In reality, the Arlo base should be up 100% of the time. The base creates a wifi sytem just for talking to the cameras.

Perhaps I didn't explain my self.
I'm asking for an alert when telling me that the base station is off.
The base station can make heartbeats, if Netgear doesn't get three or less hearbeats pushing an alert saying the base station is offline.

How do we request an enhancement to get alerted when the base is offline since it drains all the camera batteries? The other option is to have the camera somehow reduce its battery usage by checking for the base less often.
