I noticed Home app has "People" detection? Same thing with what I'm paying for Arlo Smart?

I have two Arlo Pro 2 cameras. I subscribed to their service so I could detect people, etc. so they weren’t constantly triggered by motion. I was looking at settings in the Home app and noticed there is a “People” detection option for the camera. Will that do the same thing as what I’m paying for with Arlo’s subscriptions service? I don’t want to be paying for something that iOS13 HomeKit does for free.

You will see the "People" detection option on the Home app if you have Arlo Smart subscription. If you don't have Arlo Smart, you will not see this option available on the Home app.
