I do not have any subscription with Arlo nor ever purchased their product. However there is a charge pending on my checking account from Arlo technologies inc. I disputed the charge with my bank but I’d like to know what’s going on or if it is a scam company.

Arlo is not scamming you.  Someone else got access to your account (or to a payment linked to your account).

You should change the passwords on all your accounts (including paypal or other accounts that can pull money from your checking account).

Thank you for your reply. That’s what I am afraid of too.

I have reached out to supper regarding the charges you received, support will be reaching out to you as soon as possible. However, I do suggest reaching out to your financial institution, as these charges are generally from a compromised card.

Add me to the list of NOT a customer yet her either is at 1150 pm and I have a pending charge from this company.

Dispute filed with my credit union... will be calling Arlo in the morning to discuss....

No card/account/ zipcode match verification? No Card name/Customer name match verification at the very LEAST?  Your poor customer support team right before Xmas? #fail

If someone else has your card info, they likely also have your name.

I suspect Arlo is looking at possible changes to the purchase process.  But if someone has your card info, then you are vulnerable - they will find a way to use it somewhere.
