Can’t connect to Google Home

I have tried using both the Google Home App and the Google Assistant App but when I add device and select Arlo I first get a notification “Arlo is Linked” then a spinning circle then it stops and says “Something went wrong, try again.” I just have tried this 100 times now. Anyone had success working through this?
