Arlo video doorbell second generation.

I purchased an Arlo video doorbell and I cannot get it to sync with my Arlo app on my android phone. It looks like the instructions are for an Iphone.

Which Arlo doorbell are you attempting to upload? Can you tell me what happens when you are in the process of setting it up?

Can you tell me about where you get to or if there are any error messages when trying to onboard? Is this a brand new doorbell?

Brand new out of the box.  The latest is that I insert the set key in the appropriate place in back,  the blue light in front indicates that doorbell is ready to be paired but I don't know what it is to be paired with.  I have an Arlo base but the doorbell is not supposed to need an Arlo base to pair with.  I can't seem to get my s22 android to like it.

You have to open the Arlo app on your phone and add the device that way. You just follow the prompts as you go along? Is this the way you are doing it?

Were you able to get the doorbell to connect?

Arlo wants a code that I received on my receipt but I do not see any code.

I see the receipt number, invoice number and that is it.  My subscription is Plus.

I cannot get past this step.  I am giving up for now.  This installation of a simple video doorbell just has too many hoops to jump through.  Maybe when I have a little more patience I will try again.  I have tried to appease the Arlo gods and am unable to do that at this time.  Thanks for your help.

I can have someone call from support that can walk you through the setup. Can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.

I sent the camera back.  I kept getting the message to log in with the ID number on the invoice but there wasn't any ID number on the invoice.  Someone on this thread said there shouldn't have been an ID number but the Arlo sign in continued to want one and would not let me continue without it.  Thanks for your help but I just could not get out of the application wanting an ID code.
