Dear all.

I'm trying to connect my new Arlo Essential (VMC2030AerH8) to Apple HomeKit with no success.

The QR code placed on the base is not detected by the phone and there's no 8digit code to enter as an alternative to the QR code scan. Can anyone help me?

Hi MaxSimo,

 

Make sure that your Arlo Essential Spotlight camera is connected to an existing Arlo Base Station/SmartHub to use Apple HomeKit. You can read more here, which also includes how to connect your system without a a setup code: How do I connect my Arlo camera to Apple HomeKit?
