My Apple HomeKit set up used to work fine, but after getting a new Deco Wi-Fi router it stopped working.  I removed the devices from HomeKit and wanted to set it up again.  Now the HomeKit set up using the Arlo app can’t discover any devices.  I have seen on this board a token reset sent to base station to solve the issue.  How can I request this if that is the solution? Thanks

Yes the wifi router is a new Deco. Arlo base is wire connected to AtT fiber modem.

Ok.  Then you have the two options I mentioned above.  Either wire the base to the Deco, or put the Deco in AP mode so the modem is the only router.

Possibly you'll also need a token reset, but first make sure it is set up properly.

I've sent a token reset request to your base station that should resolve the issue. Please reboot your base station (remove and reapply power) allow the base station to come back online and try setting up HomeKit again using these instructions: How do I connect my Arlo camera to Apple HomeKit?

Unfortunately I am still having the same issue. The instructions say “You must be on the same WiFi network as your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station when you first connect Arlo to HomeKit.” My base station is plugged directly into my modem, not on a wifi. I don’t think this is the problem as I had HomeKit working before with the same set up.

Yes, the instructions are a bit confusing.  Is your modem the new Deco Router?

If it isn't then you either need to

  1. put the Deco router into AP mode or
  2. connect the base to a LAN port on the Deco Router instead of the modem.

Wiring the base to the Deco worked. Thank you so much.
