Why is there a lag in recording? a few seconds go by before the recording starts. Why?

This needs to be fixed. It should be automatic.

Arlo cameras start recording as soon as motion is detected. If your cameras aren't detecting motion as well as you'd like, try increasing the sensitivity until you achieve the desired results.
