New Interface with older cameras

We have mostly older cameras. I bought one new camera and the app did an automatic interface upgrade and wiped out my whole system. We are now hanging on by a thread that my husband’s interface doesn’t also get wiped. How can we use our older cameras with the new interface. Or how do we go back to the original?

Updating the app to the new version doesn't remove your old devices. If you had devices shared with you from another account that is not using the latest user experience, those devices will not show up until both accounts are updated to the new user experience.

 

From what you've described, it sounds like this is why you're not seeing some of your devices after upgrading. To resolve this, the user who has the old version needs to upgrade to the latest user experience. This can be done by tapping the "+" in the top right corner of the Arlo app and select a Pro 5 camera as if you were onboarding a new device. This will prompt the app to update to latest user experience and any shared devices should then be visible as before.
