App update no longer allows you to set camera positioning without activating the camera.

Would like to be able to set camera position without activating camera in order to save battery.

Also latest app update (as of 7-23-2025), has removed the ability to "clearly" see that a camera is disabled. The tiny little icon on the bottom right that turns gray when camera is disabled, blends into the camera view and is very difficult to see.

These two features were desirable and they have been removed or altered in the app's latest updates. Will we see a return of either of these features?

Disarm the camera within Modes or disable the individual camera in device settings until you've finished positioning that camera. This will prevent the camera from detecting motion until you enable or re-arm the device.

Thank you for your feedback about the icon blending into the camera view and being difficult to see. I will pass this along to the development team for consideration.
