Summary: This release is to Arlo cloud/backend ONLY. Updates include more robust cloud monitoring, fix for low memory bug on Android, fix to excessive push notifications and more. ‘Sharing/Friend’ feature as well as ‘Automated Schedules’ feature are now available to all users. Some of the enhancements in this release will require app updates for optimal experience and we will post an update you as soon as the updated apps are available
Bug fixes include:
Fix for the low memory issue reported on Android app
iOS Arlo App notification badge now resets after viewing your Arlo Library*
Reduced number of Push Notifications - you will now be alerted only once for each motion detection event, as soon as your camera detects motion
‘Sharing/Friend’ feature* is now available to all users, including the free Basic plan, and it is no longer a Premium feature
‘Automated Schedules’ feature* is also now available to all users, including the free Basic plan, and it is no longer a Premium feature
More robust cloud monitoring to deliver uninterrupted cloud service to Arlo users
*While these enhancements have been made in the back-end, updates to the apps are required for optimal experience. Updates to Android and iOS apps are coming soon and we will post an update as soon as the updated apps are approved by Google and Apple.
