I have a system with four cameras and one of them records two and three times every minute for hours.  How do I stop this?  I have moved this camera to several different locations a well as switched it with one I was having no problems with.

Step one would be to remove the camera in Settings, open and close the battery door and then resync.  Did that help?  What mode is active (selected in the Mode tab after selecting your base)? Have you checked the rule for this camera?

Well that worked it is not recording for hours it is not recording at all now.  I have no rules set for any of the camera's and I haven't used the mode setting in months.  I will remove and try again and let you know what happens.  Thanks

If it's not recording, you likely don't have an appropriate mode set active. Is the running man in the Cameras tab black or gray?  I'll wager it's gray, meaning it won't detect/record at all.  Live view/recording should work.  Go to the Mode tab, select your system and check your mode(s) to ensure the camera has a rule set up for it and create it as needed.  Be sure to save at all appropriate places.

Actually: it was not reconnected, it is not recognized by base station at all.  I have tried several times to reconnect it with no luck.  I shut down the entire system and restarted it with not luck the camera will not connect to system.

You can try a factory reset to see if that helps.  Start with removing all devices from Settings and then use the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber.  Open and close all battery doors.  Add the base back into your account using the Add Device button on the Cameras tab and then resync all your cameras.  If the brute force method doesn't help, a trouble ticket will be needed for additional help and for a possible RMA for the camera.

I am a little confused as to why I would reset the entire system becasue of one camera malfunctioning.  Is there a way to factory reset just the one camera?  I took months to get this system up and running in the beginning and it has been working for almost a year now.

Jo,

What is the LED behavior of the affected camera when trying to sync it to the base station? This could give us a clue as to why it is not syncing back up after having been removed: What do the different LED behaviors on my Arlo Wire-Free camera mean?
