what is the filter icon used for and how do you use it

The filter is used for when you only want to see specific camera(s). If you click on the number for a camera in the Devices tab, it automatically sets the filter so you only see videos from that camera. It will reset when you swipe the app away but you can also reset it by clicking on the filter icon in the library. The app just has a reset while a browser requires that you reset and then save.
