I cannot get the website (arlo.netgear.com) to work for viewing live video.  I can log in OK, then I see the camera and click to start the video and it kicks me out back to the login screen.  How can I get this to work (Windows 10, Edge browser)?

Have you tried another browser or the app?

Sorry should have mentioned it works find in the Android app.  But not in Windows 10 and I have tried this on 3 different PCs, all with Edge browser.  I dont use other browsers.

I use W10 but not Edge.  🙂

It may be that Flash isn't working in your installation.  I just tried Edge and it works fine for me.  A possibility is that something in the browser cache is goofy - try flushing it.

I found this link on the Microsoft site which doesn't fix the problem but may give you some insight:

I tried clearing the cache but still get thrown out to the login page every time.  It cant be a problem with the flash because I access all sorts of sites that employ flash, for instance  eurosportplayer.com.

Not sure what to tell you other than it's something to do with your system or setup. It works fine here.  Since you're trying to use Live View, it would appear to be something to do with Flash.  Can you view your recordings in the library? They don't use Flash.

Yes no problem viewing recordings in the library.  But I still cannot view the live videos.  Of course this is critical.  I am running Windows 10 insider preview build 11102.

I guess it could be something to do with the insider preview breaking it.  Do you have a system that is on the release channel to try?  As an extreme worst case, you coulld try rolling back to a previous build but I'd be reluctant to do that myself.  Since IE is also installed, perhaps using that for this specific issue might be worthwhile trying.  In any event, I'd elevate this to MS support to see if there's anything on their end that may be a fix.  You're basically running beta software so Arlo is (more or less) out of the loop.

I just updated to the latest build (14251) of Windows 10.  Now I dont get kicked back to the login page anymore when I try and view live video.  But the window flashes and then I get back to where I must click on "live" on top of the image again.  Clicking doesnt help as I still cannot see live video.  This is all a huge disappointment because I am not getting what I wanted from this security camera.

Well, you're on the bleeding edge.  I don't believe you can fault Arlo when you're using an unsupported platform - it's beta, or even alpha, software.

My recommendation, which I understand you don't want to do, is to load up Chrome or Firefox or possibly use IE, if it still exists in these beta builds, for the purpose of checking Arlo.  The other alternative is to use the app on a mobile device.  Beyond that, your issues are between you and MS.

I had the same problem running on Mac with current (El Capitan) OS.  Tried safari, chrome browsers.  Tried turning off firewall.  Nothing worked in browser, but Android App worked fine.  Finally I tried Firefox browser, and it worked.  Makes me think the web application is picky (aka doesn't have good support) about which browser you use.

Hi. Just connected today. Website camera view using chrome not working whereas the phone apps seem fine so searched and found this semi-old post. The talk of adobe flash reminded me that the addblocker I use automatically blocks flash. You have to click an icon in the url box up the top of the browser and give permission - works fine now.  Just one more factor to consider 🙂
