I have a question on the motion sensitivity. Please bear with me, I only just installed the cameras a couple days ago and still having "issues".
When you turn down the sensitivity, does it reduce the radius of that motion detection or does it mean that it is less sensitive to, say, bushes blowing in the wind, or does it not respond to that. I read it responds to when it detects something "warmer".
If sensitivity is 100%, will it detect more around the edges of the visual area or how does this work. I'm asking because I'm trying to get a camera to be more reliable with alerts...and want to try to make sure it's not going off on cars passing by on street.
A small corner of the field of view catches some cars passing, I can't change this, and I'm wanting to know if I turn down the sensitivity will it decrease that area or overall will it not catch everything else in the closer area.
Thanks. Hope you understand what I'm asking.

The sensor when turned down LOWERS the entire PIR sense. ( not just in an area, and it cover the entire field of view even if picture is cropped ).
The way the PIR works, we have found them to be a bit more sensitive on the edges ( which may be causing your problems )

As a PS to above, some users have used a mask ( tape ) over small parts of the PIR to eliminate a section of it re false triggers.
If u can't move the camera, this may be an option.
